Hockey Update

Jaromir Jagr said what was on every players mind yesterday when he decried the process the PA gambled on for the new CBA. The fact is the players played chicken with the NHL brass, and ended up going over the cliff. A deal could have been had last year that would have saved the season, but the PA refused to consider a cap and cost us all a year of the best sport on Earth.

Will Goodenow survive the repurcussions? I think so. But his position has been severely weakened both with the NHL and internally with the PA.
