I fell in love with Magritte after seeing prints of his in the magazine 'Omni' which was like 'Heavy Metal' minus the comics and publishing sci fi shorts by William Gibson and others outside of the Analog/Amazing Stories taste for less dangerous stuff.
This one was always my fave. TCA came later, and the first time I saw it (the Brosnan verison), my reaction was dismay (the hearing-your-favourite-song-being-used- in-an-AWFUL-movie-kind-of-dismay), but the movie won me over in the end.

Reminds me of the remake of Thomas Crown Affair which was enjoyable enough but more importantly introduced me to the talented Nina Simone.
